South Texas License Suspension Attorney
If you are like most people, you rely on your driver's license every day. If you have been arrested for drunk driving or a serious traffic violation, you could lose your driver's license, and you will not have the chance to win it back in court. You want an aggressive lawyer who will protect your rights at your Administrative License Revocation (ALR) hearing, as well as in court against your criminal charges.
At the San Antonio Law Offices of Gary F. Churak, our attorney has over twenty-five years of experience providing comprehensive criminal defense representation. Whether in front of the DMV or a jury, he will make sure your rights are protected. Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, we are ready to help you find solutions after your license suspension.

If you have your license suspended for a DWI/DUI in Texas, there will be an automatic ALR license suspension. If you take a breathalyzer test and fail, your license will be suspended for 90 days. If you refuse to take the test, there is an automatic 180 day license suspension. You could also receive a license suspension for not having insurance or too many traffic tickets. Additionally, if you have previous license suspensions, the length of the suspension is one to two years.
An aggressive attorney can help you fight for your license, as you contest the suspension at an ALR hearing. We will help you explore one of two options to ensure that you retain your driving privileges:
- Contest the license suspension in a hearing to prevent it from happening.
- Obtain an occupational drivers' license for the time of the suspension.
We encourage all of our clients arrested on misdemeanor or felony DWI charges not to fight their license suspension on their own. There are serious charges for driving with a suspended license, including reinstatement fees, so make sure you do everything you can to retain your right to drive.
