Interviewer: What kinds of things have you been able to do to for a client charged with domestic violence?
Attorney Churak: I have a pretty good record of getting these cases dismissed. I’ve never had a client found guilty in a family violence case. With cases on the misdemeanor level, either have the case dismissed or have the charges basically deferred or we were offered pre-trial diversion or something to that effect.
Felony cases are little different. I have handled had some serious cases where there was some major bodily injury. They were a little difficult to deal with but I negotiated plea bargain agreements on those particular situations.
